Alex Kuehn and Chandra Fox were the recipients for the Waunakee/Westport Chamber of Commerce Scholarship.

The Waunakee/Westport Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Alex Kuehn and Chandra Fox were the recipients of our scholarship. This year the Chamber had another record number of applicants apply which makes the process of selecting candidates a difficult one. The candidates were all very impressive with their resumes that included good grades, work, and volunteer experience. As a community we should be very proud of the caliber of graduating seniors in the class of 2010! The Chamber is a STRONG advocate of education. The partnership we have forged with the schools in support of our children is one of our greatest strengths. A common thread in all the awards that were given out is the importance of balance in academics, work and community service. This really is the basis of a well rounded student and lays a strong foundation for them to go out into the world, succeed, and make a difference. The Chamber congratulates Alex and Chandra and wishes them all the best in their higher education endeavors!
